Great post. This is something I've been working on for a while now. I want to be ready when I receive the call. :)

I've probably said this before, but when I started blogging I new the blog wouldn't sell my book. But I knew I'd have a readership being built and they would/will hopefully by the first book and so on.

Thank you for this post. I have been working with a web designer for a few months now and it looks like my site will be up next month. Lately, I was wondering if putting all this time into it was really worth it for a yet-to-be-published author. It is reassuring to hear that it might be looked at by an editor I submit to. Now I can't wait! And all this other marketing information is awesome! I'm going to print and hold onto it for when my first novel gets contracted. Great practical information! Thanks again Leah.
